Advanced Medical Aesthetics & Laser Program
Oregon laws have changed! Aestheticians wanting to work with lasers and other advanced light-based devices must become Certified Advanced Aestheticians. The educational requirements of this new certification include a minimum of 208 hours which must include 40 hours of education related to laser theory and fundamentals, and 24 hours of practical experience with each of the following modalities: Skin rejuvenation; Photo rejuvenation; Body contouring; Dyschromia reduction; Cellulite reduction; Hair removal or reduction; and Nonablative tattoo removal.
